The duo’s fourth collaboration features three limited-edition styles.

Teva, a division of Deckers Brands, has announced its spring/summer 2020 collaboration with fashion brand and retailer Opening Ceremony.

The collaboration, the brands' fourth overall and first since 2016, features three limited-edition styles that combine Teva's signature designs with Opening Ceremony's design approach.

"We're thrilled to partner with Opening Ceremony for the fourth time on a limited-edition collection,” says Anders Bergstrom, general manager, Teva. “We are honored to work with Opening Ceremony to bring three revolutionary styles to life. This collection is truly innovative and radical."

The collection, consisting of three footwear styles in five total colorways, will be released in two drops from March through April. The collection is inspired by urban explorers and incorporates shine and metallics with Teva’s utilitarian aesthetic.

The first-of-three styles, the Opening Ceremony x Teva Hurricane Sock, is a hybrid model. Its upper, fully-knitted from Lurex yarns, is engineered for a sock-like fit, with adjustable straps that allow for customization. The Hurricane Sock - OC ($150) is available in unisex sizing in two monochromatic colorways, black and green, starting March 5.  

The second drop consists of two styles, a Flatform Universal and Hurricane XLT2 Gladiator, which will be released in the next few weeks.

"When Opening Ceremony first teamed up with Teva in 2014, Carol and I were excited to partner with such an iconic brand that we loved when growing up in California, exploring the outdoors," says Humberto Leon, co-founder, Opening Ceremony. "With this collection, we wanted to continue taking Teva's innovative, functional designs to create something even bolder than we had before."

The Opening Ceremony x Teva collection will be available at Teva.com, OpeningCeremony.com, Opening Ceremony stores and at select retailers globally.
