Reebok International has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with DuPont Protection Technologies to use its Kevlar and Dare Bigger brands in its new CrossFit collection.

DuPont Kevlar fiber, known for its strength and durability, will be used in a variety of high-performance sporting apparel, accessories and equipment.

“The science and engineering behind this advanced material enables athletes to Dare Bigger and push the limits of their sport,” says Marc Doyle, president, DuPont Protection Technologies. “The collaboration is a great fit between our companies and capitalizes on the synergy between our brands, allowing us to innovate and help make strong, light and durable athletic apparel and gear.”

The new spring/summer Reebok CrossFit collection will incorporate Kevlar materials and feature both DuPont trademarks. The product line will also be presented at the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games.

“Reebok has strategically engineered Kevlar into key abrasion zones within its apparel and footwear so they are durable enough to withstand even the toughest workouts,” says Corinna Werkle, senior vice president, training, Reebok. “We value our relationship with DuPont for the science behind these world-class products and for the power of the DuPont Kevlar brand.”
