Santa Monica, Calif.-based Koi was appointed by Marc Ecko Enterprises to roll out two new lines of medical scrubs under the Ecko Unltd. and Ecko Red brands.

Both lines for a spring 2011 launch will include scrub tops and pants for men and women.

"A lot of younger healthcare workers and students have grown up with these brands," says Kathy Peterson, founder and president of Koi. "Many of them love the fresh, youthful and streetwise styling of the Ecko brands. But there hasn't been anything like these brands in the uniform market before. We're looking forward to filling that void."
