Artist Kenny Scharf brings his signature, vibrant style to six new Movado watches in a deal brokered by Artestar.
Scharf’s new designs take the minimalist canvas of Movado’s Museum Watch and plaster onto it his unique visual language of amorphous, humanoid shapes called Blobzmos in eye-popping colors, each reminiscent of specific artworks created by Scharf.
The 42mm case designs, in Movado’s own TR90 composite material, echo key colors from each of the dial designs, amplifying the visual impact on the wrist. The six quartz-driven watches are complemented by nine jewelry pieces – also designed by Scharf himself.
