Fanatics is set to acquire assets from Vetta Brands, including Top of the World.

The acquisition is saving the trusted licensed sports brand from bank liquidation and restoring more than 200 lost jobs during COVID-19 crisis. Top of the World is the number one licensed collegiate headwear brand worldwide.

Fanatics now adds its headwear expertise to its vertical capabilities, setting up center of headwear excellence in Norman, OK. In addition to headwear rights, they are also adding some apparel and mass channel rights to the line. Fanatics will be gaining an apparel and merchandising team from Top of the World which will be integrated with Fanatics Brands team to create larger, dedicated college apparel team.
