Disney to Publish G-Force Video Game

The upcoming G-Force film from Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films will have a video game, scheduled to arrive in stores in July.

The G-Force video game will be available for the Wii, Xbox 360, Playstations 2 and 3, Playstation Portable, Nintendo DS and Windows-based PC. A mobile version ($6.99) is also in the works for the iPhone and Java/Brew platforms to be released in June.

"The G-Force video game gives players the opportunity to take on new enemies, weapons and missions that pick up where the film leaves off and expands the experience," says Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing for Disney Interactive Studios. "G-Force is filled with fast-paced action and memorable characters that will appeal to video game fans of all ages."

G-Force, a 3-D comedy-adventure, will hit U.S. theaters on July 24 and stars the voice talents of Sam Rockwell, Tracy Morgan, Penelope Cruz and Nicolas Cage.
