4Kids Entertainment has announced a brand expansion for animated children’s series “Dinosaur King” into toys and games.

A video game, a trading card game and a toy line is expected to debut for the series in spring 2009.

“Dinosaur King” will also debut 26 new episodes at MIPCOM in mid-October.

In the U.S., the series airs on Fox’s 4KidsTV block on Saturday mornings. There, “Dinosaur King” has reportedly received strong ratings from kids’ aged 6-11, since its premiere in September 2007. The animated series airs globally on Mediaset in Italy; RTL2 in Germany; France 3 and Canal J in France; TV2 in Denmark; TV4 in Sweden; MTV 3 in Finland; TVI in Portugal; LNK in Lithuania; Neljas in Estonia; Ketix in U.K., Scandinavia, Spain and Latin America; MNET in South Africa; and YTV in Canada.

4Kids Entertainment has four other property agreements, they include; Bruno Products for monster truck tour Monster Jam, Planeta Junior to manage photographic properties, The Dog and The Cat and the trading card game for the series “Dinosaur King” in Italy; m4e to represent The Dog and “Dinosaur King” in GAS (Germany, Austria, Switzerland); and Euro Lizenzen for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in GAS.
