Bandai Asia to Sell Digimon Toys in Australia

Toei Animation has granted Bandai Asia the rights to sell Digimon Data Squad toys in Australia, including a digivice data link, 1.5" collectible figures and 3.5" lightning digivolving figures.

"We are pleased to be working with Bandai Asia in expanding the Digimon brand and we're confident that Bandai Asia will be an excellent ambassador for programming in this important territory," says Kanji Kazahaya, president and chief operating officer of Toei Animation.

Japanese anime series "Digimon Data Squad" airs on the new Disney XD channel in the U.S. Besides the Digimon franchise, Toei Animation also produces Dragon Ball, Sailormoon, Saint Seiya and others.
