Novel Signs “Horrid Henry” Deal with Abbey Home Media

Novel Entertainment has signed a joint-venture agreement with children’s specialist Abbey Home Media Group for the U.K. DVD distribution rights to the second series of CITV animated series “Horrid Henry.” The roll out starts in summer 2009.

Novel takes a new “Horrid Henry” stage show on the road in the U.K. this autumn with Watershed Productions in association with Sheffield Theatres.

Horrid Henry books, published by Orion Children’s Books, have sold 11.5 million books in the U.K., are published in 27 countries and have been translated into 22 languages.
