BBC Motion Gallery, the clip sales arm of BBC Worldwide Americas, has sold a raft of footage into movies debuting this fall and winter. The footages licenses include:

  • Oliver Stone's W features news clips from BBC Motion Gallery of the Iraq war including the historic demolition of the Saddam Hussein statue. (Studio: Lionsgate)

  • Milk features footage of CBS anchors Cronkite and Roger Mudd during the 1070s (Studio: Focus Features)

  • Ron Howard's Frost/Nixon includes CBS news footage exclusively from BBC Motion Gallery. (Studio: Imagine / Universal)

  • The Express uses civil rights' footage as well as African-American athletes during the 1960s. (Studio: Universal)
