Sweet Baby Ray's Jerky Hits Dollar General

BBQ sauce brand Sweet Baby Ray's new beef jerky has arrived at Dollar General stores nationwide, according to IMC Licensing.

Sweet Baby Ray's honey chipotle-flavored jerky will be distributed to the discount chain by Bridgford Foods.

"We see potential in inking Sweet Baby Ray's with additional new opportunities in food licensing to expand the brand's presence in supermarkets, mass merchandisers, convenience stores and restaurants across the country," says Cara Bernosky, IMC president and co-founder.

Sweet Baby Ray's-flavored beef jerky launched in August 2007 and has been sold at Kmart, Walmart, Walgreens, Publix and others. Dollar General operates more than 8,000 stores in 35 states.
