Start Licensing has secured the third-party licensing rights to a portfolio of well-known brands from Britvic Soft Drinks. They include Robinsons Fruit Shoot, Robinsons Fruit Squash, Tango and Drench, J2O, R White's and Corona.

Start will be looking for partners in product areas such as apparel, giftware, bags, greeting cards, bedding and mobile content.

"We believe that Britvic's portfolio presents an opportunity to develop licensed products that will be well received by licensees," says Ian Downes, Start Licensing's director. "These brands are well-known and well-established at retail—the key qualities licensees look for in new licenses. Britvic has identified licensing as an opportunity to provide coverage in non-traditional areas for their brands and create new relationships with their consumers. We expect to develop individual licensing programs for each brand."

The deal does not extend to PepsiCo brands in Britvic's portfolio.
