Fox Plans Planet of the Apes Video Game

The new video game will take place between the events of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes.

GLOBAL–Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has tapped Imaginarium Studios, in partnership with FoxNext Games, to release a new console game inspired by the Planet of the Apes movies franchise.

The new narrative-adventure game, titled “Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier” is set between Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes films and will allow players to play on both sides of the growing conflict, gaining an understanding of the motivations as well as the hopes and fears of both humans and apes. Every decision the player makes will not only impact the balance between peace and war, but will determine the destinies of each species.

“Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier” will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this fall.
