Los Angeles, Calif.-based Rock & Roll Religion plans to create Hot Rod The Clothing Collection through a recent agreement with Hot Rod Magazine.
The line for men, women and juniors is expected to include tees, tanks, knits, wovens and jackets with Hot Rod classic designs and will debut at MAGIC in February. Hot Rod The Clothing Collection is expected to appear in retailers worldwide after its premiere.
"We've done so well over the last five years with the rock-and-roll lifestyle, and Hot Rod is a natural extension of that genre," says Christopher Wicks, designer and owner of Rock & Roll Religion.
Rock & Roll Religion owns several brands including English Laundry, English Rose, Fender: The Clothing Collection, Jimi Hendrix: The Experience and DaVinci. Hot Rod Magazine, a publication of Source InterLink Media, has a reported circulation of more than 675,000 subscribers and is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
