Iconix’s Op, London Fog, Joe Boxer, Starter and Rocawear brands recently entered into license agreements outside of the United States.

Op, which is currently licensed in the U.S. through a direct-to-retail agreement with Wal-Mart Stores, was recently launched in select stores in Canada. All Canadian stores will carry the brand in spring 2009. Op will also launch in Wal-Mart supercenters in Mexico in spring 2009.

Iconix also entered into license agreements for its other brands—London Fog, Joe Boxer and Starter in Europe, and Rocawear in Brazil.

London Fog clothing and accessories will be manufactured and distributed in Europe and Turkey through a multi-year license with Yellowstone Ventures. There are also plans for a London Fog flagship store in Milan and further expansion.

The Joe Boxer brand will be seen in standalone retail shops in major cities in Europe, including London and Rome through a long-term license with Virgo.

Starter apparel will also be seen in Europe and Turkey through a long-term master agreement with Mint Apparel Limited, a division of Integrix Group. Mint Apparel currently holds the European license for Fila and Iconix’s Op brand.

Also, Rocawear apparel, footwear and accessories will be manufactured and distributed in Brazil through a license agreement with TBC Gestao de Marcas, Ltd. TBC also holds the license for Ecko Unltd and Sean John in Brazil.
