CBeebies will mark the broadcast debut of HIT Entertainment's newest CGI preschool series "Little Charley Bear" later this year. The 26x7 series has also lined up other deals in Europe.

"Little Charley Bear," co-produced by HIT Entertainment and Annix Studios, has also been licensed to air on SVT in Sweden and NRK in Norway.

"Annix Studios has done a tremendous job in combining classic stories with leading-edge animation and we're delighted that 'Little Charley Bear' will have a broadcasting home on the U.K.'s premiere children's channel CBeebies," says Alison Homewood, executive vice president, worldwide distribution for HIT Entertainment.

Additionally, CBeebies has inked the first-ever CGI series of "Bob the Builder" for air in 2010. HIT Entertainment has also lined up several new distribution deals, including France 5 for "Fireman Sam" and "Angelina Ballerina," as well as "Thomas & Friends" for the channel's preschool block les ZousZous. Others include RAI (Italy) and SUPER RTL (Germany) for "Bob the Builder," SUPER RTL (Germany) for the new CGI version of "Thomas & Friends" to air in 2010 and NRK (Norway) for "Clay Play," a new preschool series represented by HIT and produced by Israel's Smartoonz.
