Brand Sense Partners (Booth #5119) recently welcomed Corky Carroll to its list of clients with plans to expand the surf icon's branded apparel line.

As the worldwide licensing agent for Carroll, the firm is seeking co-branded and direct-to-retail partnerships for Carroll's line of men's activewear and surf apparel, including board shorts, walk shorts, T-shirts, wovens, hats and visors. The apparel line, expected to arrive in stores in summer 2010, also includes a collection with "wood-panel" embellishments.

"I approached this line with the same passion, freedom and sincerity that allowed me to ride and test the ocean's boundaries for the past 40 years," says Carroll. "It was important to me to create a well-fitting, men's apparel line designed to protect the body, inspire the soul and create a confidence that wears equally well in and out of the water."

Carroll has won more than 100 surfing titles over his 40-year career. In 1968 he was named the best surfer in the world in a Surfer's Magazine reader's poll. Carroll previously was a spokesperson for brands such as Coca-Cola, Ocean Spray and Jansen.

The Licensing International Expo will be held June 2-4 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Resort.
