Evans Names Beth Ditto for Celebrity Apparel

After months of speculation, The Gossip star Beth Ditto has been confirmed by U.K. Arcadia Group's plus-size fascia Evans to front a fashion collection. The collection will launch in early July.

The 1980s-inspired range is co-designed by Ditto with Evans' head of design Lisa Marie Peacock. It will include draped jersey, graphic dresses, oversized knitwear and T-shirts plus accessories.

"Beth Ditto is such an amazing role model and music and fashion icon," says a spokeswoman for Evans. "We are really excited to have her on board and make her style available to our younger fashion-led customer."
