Comedian Rob Brydon Named as Celebrity Host for U.K. Licensing Awards

Comedian and TV personality, Rob Brydon, will host The Licensing Source Book’s Licensing Awards 2008, which takes place at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Sept. 17.

Now in their third year, the awards recognize and reward innovation and excellence across the licensing spectrum from product development to retailing and licensed properties. Spring Fair Birmingham is headline sponsor and LIMA U.K. is an official supporter of the awards. 

For the first time, the awards include five categories dedicated to brand licensing including sports, celebrity and general brands across the retail, product and property categories. Alongside the category winners, an honorary achievement award will be made to a person who has contributed to the licensing industry.
