Pierre Cardin Close to Signing 32 License Deals in China?

Conflicting reports are circulating in Europe and in China about Pierre Cardin license deals in China.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the French designer was set to sell all his product licenses and the brand to partners in China. This has since been denied, but it has been suggested that the designer is close to finalizing 32 footwear deals with its existing partners Jiansheng Trading and Cardanro in a €200 million ($280 million) deal. This deal is said to include the Maxim's brand.
