American Greetings' Care Bears property has a signed a women's apparel and accessories deal with Spain-based retailer Oysho, as well as several new broadcast deals and international partnerships.
Many items of the new Care Bears apparel and accessories line are now available at Oysho stores throughout Europe, the Middle East and South America. The collection features T-shirts, sleepwear, undergarments, intimate wear, swimwear, casual outerwear, pants, dresses, skirts, footwear and more. The full product line is expected to reach all 362 stores by June 2009.
The animated series has also sealed new broadcast deals with KIKA in Germany, France 5, PIWI in France, Al Jazeera Children's Channel in the Middle East, Hop! in Israel, SABC in South Africa and Sub Sahara Africa, Cartoon Network in Pan-Asia and Alter TV in Greece.
The Care Bears property has also entered into partnerships with the following:
Fipo Group Aps for a line of children's and adult apparel in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (available now),
D'arpeje for toys and ride-ons in France (April 2009),
Branded Clothing for a vintage apparel collection in the U.K., (available now),
