On the heels of the U.S. Open in New York City, Ubisoft has announced No. 3-ranked international tennis star, Daniil Medvedev, is joining the “Rainbow Six Siege” team as a game ambassador.

Medvedev is a long-time fan of the game, with nearly 3,000 hours of playtime, Diamond ranking and among the top 3% of ranked Siege players. In his role as game ambassador, Medvedev will partner with the “Rainbow Six” team to provide feedback and test out early content and upcoming features in advance as well as promote the game. Medvedev will also partner with the development team to create an in-game character skin, including weapon skin, gear and charm in 2024.

“I’ve been playing ‘Rainbow Six Siege’ for the last eight years,” says Medvedev. “I’m drawn to the tactical nature of Siege. As a competitive person, I appreciate the depth of strategy and team-based gameplay and love to play whenever I’m not playing tennis. It’s a joy to partner with the Siege team as a game ambassador, where I’ll be able to speak to the developers directly, provide feedback and promote the game to existing and new players alike.”

“We’re proud and excited to work with Daniil,” says Mohammed Benhenneda, director, business strategy, Ubisoft. “His creativity and strategically minded play are what makes him so exciting both in tennis and in top-ranked matches of ‘Rainbow Six Siege.’ He’s the perfect ambassador, representing what makes Siege different than any other game out there.”
