Mattel’s Roz Nowicki to Step Down
Succession news to soon follow.
June 15, 2022
Roz Nowicki, head of global consumer products and franchise marketing, Mattel, will exit her post as of June 30.
During her time with the leading toy company, Nowicki oversaw the growth of Mattel’s location-based entertainment and direct-to-retail initiatives on a global scale, as well as spearheaded and built a newly reorganized and high performing team.
"It has been an honor to lead the consumer products and franchise teams at Mattel,” says Nowicki. “During my time we reorganized, rebuilt and grew, while successfully launching high profile programs with Forever 21, Nike, Zara, Rocket Mortgage, Burger King and many more."
Nowicki joined Mattel in November 2020 and is a licensing industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, working with brands such as Peanuts Worldwide, Fox Consumer Products, 4Kids Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company and more. Mattel recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, and is leveraging its powerful slate of owned and partner IP to drive current and future licensed consumer product campaigns, of which Nowicki was instrumental in facilitating alongside her team.
Nowicki says she will share details about her next chapter "when the time is right."
Nowicki’s successor will be announced in the coming days.
