Racing Force Group has announced the strengthening of its relationship with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). Bell Racing will launch licensed helmets and scaled helmets with 24 Hours of Le Mans dedicated livery.
The Bell Racing GT6 Pro full-face helmet and MAG open-face helmet have both already been worn by international-caliber athletes and amateur drivers. The designs come in two color schemes to highlight the appeal of the most iconic endurance race event in the world, which celebrated its Centenary edition last June.
The partnership also includes the production of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Bell Mini Helmets. Unlike conventional models, the 1:2 scale Bell helmets share with the real racing counterparts the same engineering team and the same manufacturing plant in the Kingdom of Bahrain. They feature high technology components and similar materials as the real racing helmets, which make them unique memorabilia items for motorsport enthusiasts and professionals.
This year, Racing Force Group and ACO started officially working together, as the OMP brand supplies fireproof racewear to the 24 Hours of Le Mans marshals, safety car drivers, medical team members, TV production and communication staff and security operators.
The next edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place June 15-16, when Racing Force Group will have a dedicated space in the paddock, to provide on-track technical support for the Bell Racing and OMP partners and customers and to sell the new special Bell helmets and mini helmets to the fans attending the event.
“We are honored we have been chosen to produce the new 24 Hours of Le Mans licensed Bell helmets and Mini Helmets,” says Aref Yazbek, chief business officer, Racing Group. “The race has a huge appeal among the motorsport community, given its heritage and the excitement it provided in its previous 100 editions, including the last one, in which three Bell-equipped drivers claimed the overall victory.
“So, our team of designers put the maximum effort into creating unique liveries for our special GT6 Pro and MAG helmets, delivering a striking and stylish appearance for all the customers. We are also proud that our brands, Bell Racing and OMP, are now both partners of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, especially during a golden era for endurance racing like the one we are enjoying.”
“We are delighted to be entering into this licensing partnership with Bell Racing, following on from our agreement with Racing Force Group,” says Stéphane Andriolo, customer and events director, Automobile Club de l'Ouest. “Bell Racing is an iconic brand in the world of motorsports, whose history is closely linked to that of the Le Mans 24 Hours. After an historic centenary edition, we are now looking ahead to 2024. The 24 Hours of Le Mans and endurance racing are experiencing an unprecedented golden age, with an extraordinary lineup of competitors.”
This deal was brokered by Le Mans’ exclusive licensing agency, IMG.
