Glossier has announced its first retailer partnership with Sephora. Beginning early next year, the brand will enter stores across the U.S. and Canada, and will be available to shop on and the Sephora app.

“We are incredibly excited to enter our first-ever retailer partnership with Sephora,” says Kyle Leahy, chief executive officer, Glossier. “They are an iconic, international retailer with an extremely loyal community and we know our customers want to find us there. We share the same customer-centric values and are both deeply grounded in the ever-evolving notion of beauty discovery. This marks a new chapter in our omni-channel strategy and we can’t wait for all that’s ahead in 2023.”

After reopening retail in 2021, with a greater focus on omni-channel retail, Glossier is doubling down on efforts to reach even more customers while meeting existing shoppers where they already are. Sephora was the top consideration for a partner, given a shared focus on beauty discovery and customer experience, digital-first community as well as its international presence.

Glossier is one of the most searched brands on that is not currently part of the Sephora portfolio. Additionally, inquiries around where customers can shop Glossier and whether the brand is available at Sephora have spiked up to 200% (between July 2021-July 2022).

In addition to making Glossier more accessible where and how customers shop, Glossier and Sephora customers will be able to buy favorite products while also partaking in Sephora’s Beauty Insider program, unlocking new perks for Glossier shoppers and giving Sephora Beauty Insider members access to the cult Glossier products they have come to love.

As Glossier gears up for the rollout in 2023, the brand will continue opening its own stores across the country. In the last year, Glossier opened stores in Seattle, Los Angeles, London and Miami, and they’ve announced plans to open in D.C., Atlanta, Philadelphia and Brooklyn by the end of the year, with a return to Soho in 2023.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Glossier to Sephora next year,” says Artemis Patrick, executive vice president, global chief merchandising officer, Sephora. “Our top priority is to curate the most exceptional collection of brands that shoppers around the world come to expect from us, as the leading global prestige beauty retailer. As one of the most searched brands on we know our customers are going to be beyond excited to find their Glossier must-have products online, the Sephora app and in our stores, while unlocking all the perks of our Beauty Insider program has to offer.”
