Ubisoft’s Rabbids to Debut on VeVe

Digital collectibles platform, VeVe, has announced a new collaboration with Ubisoft, to launch a series of digital collectibles based on the Rabbids creatures, who first appeared in the video game, “Rayman Raving Rabbids.” 

The Rabbids are a mysterious breed of creatures that seek fun throughout worlds and dimensions. 

In the initial drop on March 25, fans will be able to purchase a blind box containing one of four different Rabbids collectibles as part of Series 1, exclusively through VeVe, available to download on the App Store and Google Play and available through the VeVe Web App. 

Additional Rabbids collectibles will be released later this year. 

“Rabbids are some of the most iconic characters to emerge in the history of video games, so we are thrilled to partner with Ubisoft to bring the Rabbids’ love for fun and freedom to the digital collectible world,” says Dan Crothers, chief operating officer, co-founder, VeVe. “We can’t wait to share Rabbids’ irresistibly fun personalities with our VeVe community of collectors, whether they be Rabbids fans who are looking to own their own digital Rabbid or new to digital collecting.” 

The first group of Rabbids VeVe digital collectibles include Laughing Rabbids, Samurai Rabbid, Sports Rabbid and Skating Rabbid.

Through the VeVe platform, fans can showcase their digital collections in the app’s virtual showrooms as epic 3D dioramas as well as virtually visit, comment on and like showrooms from other collectors. VeVe also offers an augmented reality (AR) photo mode that allows collectors to interact with every digital collectible in 3D, as well as share their collectibles through VeVe’s in-app social feed or on external social platforms.
