National Gallery Global Limited, with licensing partner, Copyrights Asia, has curated two rooms in Tokyo’s Prince Hotel – one inspired by Vincent van Gogh, the other inspired by Claude Monet – as part of an ongoing partnership with Copyrights Asia.
Each room features art reproductions and amenities inspired by the renowned artists, including bespoke bedspreads, art and key cards as part of the partnership.
The themed menu also includes two parfaits. The Vincent van Gogh-inspired parfait is made with mango and orange fruits, with a mint and strawberry garnish. The Claude Monet-inspired parfait features kiwi, strawberry, raspberry and orange fruits.
The Prince Hotel offers over 1,000 guest rooms, including concept rooms inspired by various cultural interests, such as anime and manga, and a range of artists and art styles. Each concept room is designed to immerse guests in the subculture of their choice to create a unique stay.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Prince Hotel and opening two National Gallery-themed rooms showcasing our stunning artworks in original and innovative ways,” says Judith Mather, B2B and brand licensing director, National Gallery Global Limited.
The Vincent van Gogh room features reproductions of “Sunflowers” and “Wheatfield with Cypresses,” and is available for stays through Oct. 31.
Inspired by “The Water-Lily Pond” painting, the Claude Monet room will open for bookings from Oct. 1 until March 24, 2024.
