The Dr. Seuss Experience is a 15,000-square-foot experience that takes participants on a journey through the wondrous world of Dr. Seuss. Different Seussian tales inspire each themed area of the tour. Stories used in the experience include
The Cat In The Hat
,
Horton Hears A Who!
and
The Lorax
.
"We are extremely fortunate to have been given a chance to partner with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to create this truly innovative experience," says Mark Manuel, chief executive officer, Kilburn. "Audiences yearn for great new entertainment, and at Kilburn, we aim to create new forms of live attractions that are compellingly different. Our entire team grew up reading Dr. Seuss, and we have watched our children grow up doing the same. There was a lot of responsibility on our shoulders to represent this property properly."
The colorful experience aims to
bring the art of the story to life while exploring the social message at the root of each featured story. Its centerpiece that will anchor the whole experience is an interconnected maze comprised of thousands of suspended balloons and inspired byOh The Places You'll Go!
The Dr. Seuss Experience will kick off in Toronto, Canada in October. From Toronto, the experience will travel to multiple cities across the U.S.
The Kilburn partnership adds to previous partnerships with Dr. Seuss Enterprises and companies such as
