Nickelodeon's president of content development and production, Russell Hicks, is stepping down after 18 years with the company, multiple sources report.

Nickelodeon's president of content development and production, Russell Hicks, is stepping down after 18 years with the company, multiple sources report.

Hicks was took over his current position in 2012. Prior to that, he was the company’s chief creative officer. As president of content development and production, Hicks lead the company’s live-action, animation development and production teams for all of Nickelodeon’s content platforms.

Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Hicks was vice president of marketing for Cartoon Network/Turner brands for Warner Bros.

There are currently no plans to replace him, according to Variety.
