GMTV Signs "Galactik Football"

French animator Alphanim's flagship series "Galactik Football" will get its U.K. free-to-air premiere in June on GMTV's Action Stations block broadcast on CITV Channel and ITV4.

The series launched in the U.K. in 2006 on Jetix, and has regularly been in the Top 10 programs on the channel, Alphanim says.

The series is co-produced with France Télévisions in association with Jetix Europe, and mixes 2-D and 3-D. It follows the progress of the Snow Kids, a futuristic football team from the planet Akillian as they try to win the prestigious Galactik Football Cup.
