Igloo has partnered with Disney to release a special edition Playmate cooler inspired by the classic holiday film “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

The cooler is designed after the film’s main character Jack Skellington. A seven-quartz cooler, the Playmate is designed to keep items cold throughout the day. The black and white cooler is available now at igloocoolers.com.

“This has been a really fun collaboration to work on,” says Brian Garofalow, vice president, marketing and ecommerce, Igloo. “Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is a classic and Jack Skellington as the Pumpkin King has truly become an icon for the Halloween season. We are no longer in the business of only creating drink and snack coolers, but convenient candy holders as well!” 

“The Nightmare before Christmas” was originally released in 1993. The claymation film was directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton. As a Christmas film with Halloween elements, the feature as become a mainstay of holiday film best of lists.

Igloo’s latest Playmate joins a long list of licensed Disney coolers from the company. In October, Igloo partnered with the House of Mouse for a cooler collection inspired by the Star Wars franchise. The collection included Igloo products designed after R2-D2 and Darth Vader. In August, Disney and Igloo also collaborated on a line of coolers inspired by the Pixar classic film “Toy Story.”
