Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced an official licensing agreement for Fan Ink to design, produce, market and distribute premium headwear and accessories adorned with the crests and brand marks of its roster of 29 clubs (and counting).

Fan Ink has existing licensing agreements with individual clubs across leagues, such as Bundesliga in Germany, La Liga in Spain, Liga MX in Mexico, Ligue 1 in France, Premier League in England, Serie A in Italy, among others, but this signing represents Fan Ink’s first league-wide licensing agreement in North America.

Launching in February to coincide with the arrival of the new MLS season, the inaugural collection will include a suite of looks that have come to define Fan Ink’s take on premium fanwear, including the Swingman snapback, Psychedelic knit beanie, Princeton snapback, Strike One8th adjustable cap, Marina 2.0 bucket hat and Club Gold Snapback.

“With all eyes on Major League Soccer as of late, the league is poised to enter what promises to be a golden era for soccer in the United States and Canada,” says Robert St-Amant, vice president, sales and marketing, Fan Ink. “Staying true to Fan Ink’s commitment to give fans more, we believe the league is the perfect collaborator to bring to life the unique visions and stories of its world-class players and loyal supporters. Our mission with this partnership is to work closely with each MLS club to reimagine how fans consider and experience authentic licensed products – and apply it towards never-seen-before interpretations of headwear.”

We look forward to playing an important role in the ever-growing demand for all things MLS, now and in the years to come.”
