One Animation Grows Exec Team

GLOBAL–One Animation, the animation studio behind “Oddbods,” has hired two new executives–Maxim de Wit and Will Ochoa–to enhance its digital offering and further expand its licensing efforts.

Maxim de Wit and Will Ochoa have joined the company to grow its digital offering and licensing efforts in Europe and North America.

De Wit joins the company as business development director. In his new role, he will be responsible for creating and rolling out a new focus on digital strategy for the company.

Meanwhile, Ochoa has joined the company as international licensing director and will aim to extend One Animation’s licensing efforts in Europe and North America. Ochoa previously worked for CPLG.

“It’s a very exciting time to be joining One Animation,” says Ochoa. “In the last 12 months, ‘Oddbods’ has garnered an astonishing 2 billion views on YouTube. Pair this with ‘Oddbods’ now being aired throughout EMEA and the U.S. across leading free-to-air, subscription and SVOD channels, and it is clear we are in a very strong position to keep developing out licensing programs to satisfy this huge demand for the series.

to continue signing key international partnerships, such as our Ferrero range, which launched this summer, and to continue to build on the already excellent licensee portfolios we have in place,” continues Ochoa. “We also have a number of fantastic new animated properties in development, which we are looking forward to announcing and securing licensing partners for in the coming months.”
