With Brand Licensing Europe one day away, License Global continues its look at some of the top exhibitors from the event. Today, we take a look at the digital storytellers, developers and gaming icons set to exhibit at ExCeL London on Oct. 1-3.
Rovio
With the acclaimed “Angry Birds 2” in global cinemas and with “Angry Birds Friends” now available to play and new announcements set to emerge at BLE’s The Arcade for the brand’s 10th anniversary, Rovio (stand B140) is flying into 2020 with a portfolio of new exciting licensed products, platforms and experiences.
Sony Interactive Entertainment
After an announcement emerged in August to acquire Insomniac Games – developer of the latest “Spider-Man” breakthrough hit – Sony Interactive Entertainment (stand D220) is not only expanding but also bringing its usual line of outstanding gaming to BLE.
Bandai Namco
With “Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot,” “Jumanji: The Video Game” and CD Projekt Red’s "Cyberpunk 2077,” all part of the upcoming releases from Bandai Namco (stand C202), the global games publisher will be at BLE and at The Arcade to present the latest chapter in its long-standing heritage as “Pac Man” turns 40.
Sybo
The cutting-edge Copenhagen studio renowned for its mobile games, in particular “Subway Surfers,” will be at stand C302 and at BLE’s The Arcade after bringing its own animated series to YouTube.
Activision Blizzard
With “Call of Duty”, “Overwatch” and “World of Warcraft,” Activision Blizzard (stand D300) has released the top-grossing titles to grace consoles and PC’s everywhere and will display its licensing initiatives at BLE in style next week at The Arcade in preparation for the brand’s 40th birthday.
Nintendo
A new exhibitor for BLE at stand E220, the Nintendo brand is synonymous with video game classics “Mario Bros.,” “Zelda” and countless breakthroughs across both gaming properties and player experience.
Ubisoft
With “Rabbids,” “Ghost Recon: Breakpoint” and “Assassin’s Creed,” Ubisoft’s world-class range of game titles, including upcoming mobile game “Tom Clancy: Elite Squad,” as well as a long line of carefully licensed products will be on display at stand B241 at BLE.
Capcom
From the walking dead of “Resident Evil” to the flying hadoukens of “Street Fighter,” Capcom creates icons and has subsequently generated some of the best licensing programs in the world with evergreen titles at stand C321.
Sega
“Sonic the Hedgehog” and the long line of gaming properties that borders both cutting-edge gaming and nostalgia titles are on display at BLE’s The Arcade and at Sega’s stand A281.
Pokémon
With a dedicated London Pokémon Centre opening after BLE 2019, Pokémon continues to expand and grow with new games, characters, series and content, which is generating countless experiences and consumer products.
Tinderbox
The gaming arm of global licensing agency Beanstalk, Tinderbox forges partnerships between the biggest names in gaming and will be at BLE 2019 at stand C361 with its parent brand.
Don’t miss The Arcade, hosted by PowerStation Studios, which will gather gaming exhibitors in a dedicated area with interactive elements while a keynote, hosted by GLG brand director Steven Ekstract, will shine a light on the future of esports (Thursday, Oct. 3).
