The announcement was made at Brand Licensing Europe, by Jennifer Coleman, vice president, licensing and marketing, Konami Cross Media NY.

Coleman noted that the new licensees will unveil an array of apparel and accessories, with many focused on generating excitement for Yu-Gi-Oh!’s strong Gen Z fandom. All of the merchandise will be available in time for the 2023 holiday season.

“We are excited for the continuing growth into new categories,” says Coleman. “From sustainable clothing to gym workout outfits to jewelry, these new deals will bring a lot of buzz around Yu-Gi-Oh! products not previously available to fans.”

Fashion UK is looking to grow its anime offerings. The company believes that Yu-Gi-Oh! will have strong appeal with customers.

In an effort to further expand the range and reach of product in the market, Kovert, a U.S.-based manufacturer of anime gym apparel and accessories, will launch a line of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise that offers a deepening of the brand with Gen Z fans. With an executive team that has a wealth of experience in the anime landscape and having worked with leading rights holders in the genre, Kovert is one of the first anime-specific gym apparel manufacturers.

Thanks to a deal with Mister SFC, there will be a Yu-Gi-Oh! line of jewelry celebrating the 25th anniversary of the trading card game.
