WBCP Unveils Suicide Squad Lineup
Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment have teamed up with a slate of global licensees to support the upcoming action film Suicide Squad, in theaters Aug. 5.

Mattel, HarperCollins, Hot Topic and more to release products for the upcoming film.
Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment have teamed up with a slate of global licensees to support the upcoming action film Suicide Squad, in theaters Aug. 5.
“Suicide Squad marks the theatrical debut of several of the most recognized, fan-favorite DC Super-Villains, and these iconic characters of WBCP offer a unique opportunity to create a robust merchandising program aimed at the adult collector via partnerships with some of the most renowned licensees in the industry,” says Pam Lifford, president, WBCP.
On the apparel front, WBCP has tapped with Hot Topic and Bioworld Merchandising for apparel and accessories collections; Junk Food Clothing and Trevco for fashion tops and t-shirts; Under Armour for athletic wear; Matchless London for a leather assortment; Converse for footwear; and Accutime Watch Corp. for timepieces, among many others.
Also supporting the film is Mattel with a line of Multiverse figures; Funko with stylized figures; Jada Toys for vehicle replicas; eFX for “as-seen-on” prop replicas; Bif Bang Pow! for toys and accessories; and Skinit Acquisition for electronic accessories and mobile skins.
Additionally, HarperCollins Publishers and Titan Publishing will release a number of titles, while Hallmark, Huckleberry Toys, Trend Setters, Fashion Accessory Bazaar and Underground Toys will all offer a variety of paper products.
Finally, Noble Collection, Franco Manufacturing and Trends International, among others, will release décor, accessories and novelty items.
Additional Suicide Squad merchandise tailored to local markets will also be available across EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific from a variety of licensees including apparel from Mauritius, Primark and United Labels; accessories and novelty items from Groovy UK, Forbidden Planet and GB Eye, among others; and branded programs from Movis and Industrias Darks.
Suicide Squad-inspired merchandise will roll out worldwide this month and is currently available online at ShopDCEntertainment.com/SuicideSquad.
