The Copyrights Group has welcomed a slate of new licensees to The Snowman and The Snowdog roster and unveiled plans for a number of new brand activations.

The Copyrights Group has welcomed a slate of new licensees to The Snowman and The Snowdog roster and unveiled plans for a number of new brand activations.

New licensees for the brand include Peter Black (M&S) for toys and games; Blues Clothing and Cooneen by Design for apparel; Scoop Designs for food gifting items; U.K. Greetings for cards and gift wrap; and Paper Projects and KSG (Sequin Art) for arts and crafts products, all of which will launch at retail later this year.

Other new additions that plan to debut product in 2016 include Fashion U.K. for footwear; Character World for bedroom textiles and accessories; Specialist Arts and Crafts for crafting; and Widdop Bingham for gifting.

In other news, the British Red Cross is planning a reprisal of its winter 2014 fundraising campaign, which featured The Snowman and The Snowdog imagery and content and raised more than £1 million. The 2015 campaign will feature an expanded raft of content and target new locations when it launches this winter.

Dates have also been confirmed for the 18th annual run of "The Snowman" stage show, produced by the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Stops are planned in London, Southampton, Birmingham and Nottingham from Nov. 25-Jan. 31, 2016.

Additionally, a growing number of international orchestras are hosting live performances of The Snowman. Presented in the tandem with a live screening of the film, more than 90 performances are scheduled at orchestras in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, Sweden, Canada, Finland, the U.K. and the U.S.
