ITV Studios Global Entertainment has signed a new deal with C&M Licensing to develop a range of men's and women’s apparel featuring the ’70s disco band the Village People.

C&M Licensing, a joint venture between nightwear supplier Cooneen and apparel supplier Misirli U.K., is planning a range for the U.K. and Ireland that will include nightwear, underwear and socks.

The new apparel deal will complement the already announced line of adult fashion t-shirts and leisurewear from licensee Trademark, set to hit shelves this summer.

The C&M Licensing collection will hit retail in late-spring/early summer at high street, chain, department stores and online retailers.

“This range brilliantly brings together high-quality apparel and one of the most recognizable names in dance music,” says Trudi Hayward, senior vice president and head of global merchandising, ITVS GE. “We’re sure disco fans and lovers of fun clothing will be thrilled with the C&M Licensing Village People range.”
