Epic Story Media, a Canadian production company, has partnered with Florida-based experiential entertainment company Falcon’s Beyond Global to build an all-encompassing brand plan for its Katmandu IP, according to Kidscreen.

Epic will bring characters from Katmandu to life through content and consumer products, focusing on the park’s action-adventure/mythical quest elements. Falcon’s Beyond Global has recruited writer and showrunner Sean Jara (Mysticons) to support content development. Along with more traditional distribution to broadcasters and digital platforms, TV and film content will also be showcased in Falcon’s parks and themed kids’ camps.

Katmandu comprises an adventure park and resort in Spain and a branded kids’ camp program associated with the Meliá hotel chain worldwide. The companies plan to collaborate to launch animated films, TV series, consumer products and gaming offerings.
