Pan Am Brands, a division of Pan American World Airways, has partnered with TransCard for a line of prepaid travel cards.

The prepaid cards, which provide a safe alternative to cash and credit cards when traveling, will feature the Pan Am name and logo.

Now available through TransCard’s network of nearly 300 financial institutions, the Pan Am Traveler card reduces cardholder inconvenience while abroad as well as offering a slate of travel features including fraud prevention technology, trip protection, 24-hour travel assistance and concierge service.

“The introduction of the Pan Am Travel Card by TransCard is an exciting opportunity. Pan Am made the world a smaller place and TransCard’s Pan Am card will add security and safety to today’s jet-setting adventures,” says Stacy Beck, vice president, brands and licensing, Pan American World Airways.

Pan American World Airways was the largest international air carrier in the United States between 1927 and 1991 and became a cultural icon of the 20th century.
