Mattel has partnered with ColourPop Cosmetics for a makeup collection inspired by Malibu Barbie in honor of her upcoming 50th anniversary.

The collection includes:

  • A 15-shade eyeshadow palette with both matte and shimmery colors;

  • Three lip duos, including lipsticks and lip liners;

  • False eyelashes;

  • A compact highlighter; and

  • A handheld mirror.

The collection uses names reminiscent of the doll icon, including eyeshadow shades, “Malibu Memories,” “Let’s Go Party” and “Vintage Doll,” and lip duos “Dream House,” “Golden Beach” and “Malibu Sunset.”

In the past, Disney and ColourPop teamed for collections inspired by Disney Princesses, "The Mandalorian" and “Lizzie McGuire.” In addition, other past ColourPop creations have been inspired by "Animal Crossing," "Candy Land," Hello Kitty and more.

Barbie has dipped her toes into the beauty industry multiple times in the past, including through collaborations with Pür, Butter London and MAC Cosmetics.

The Malibu Barbie x ColourPop collection will be available to purchase on the ColourPop website on May 13.
