Costco Teams with Sports Artist

Costco is bringing a new category of products to its members–fine art.

The warehouse club has teamed with Harvest Fine Art (home of legendary sports artist Stephen Holland) and National Basketball Association stars Larry Bird and “Magic” Johnson to commission two limited edition works of art available exclusively at the retailer.

The first two works feature 300 prints of the two stars signed by the athletes and Holland and will be available exclusively at select U.S. warehouses April 20.

“Even if my art was shown in a thousand more art galleries, it would still only be seen by a small portion of the fans out there who share my love for the players who define the games, and this is why, when Costco approached me with the idea of having my art, I jumped at the opportunity,” says Holland.
