Snowtap Taps Renaissance Licensing for Design and Illustration Brand in the U.S., Canada

Renaissance will be tasked with expanding the market reach of the Snowtap brand in North America.

Graphic design and illustration brand, Snowtap, and KJG, which manages the Snowtap consumer products program, have announced the appointment of Renaissance Licensing as a sub-licensing agent to look after the Snowtap brand in the North American market.

Renaissance will be tasked with expanding the market reach of the Snowtap brand’s consumer products program that has been managed by KJG since 2021, when KJG signed a deal for Snowtap to appoint The Art File, an independent publisher of greeting cards, stationery and gifts, as its leading greeting card publisher. Based on Snowtap’s natural-world-inspired designs, the greetings cards have sold over 230,000 cards to date, and plans are underway for new Christmas cards for this year.

Since 2021, retail and licensing activity for the brand has grown in the U.K. across social stationery, gifts, toys, games, puzzles and calendars, leading to growing interest from other regions.
