All seven members of the Justice League superheroes will come to Subway restaurants as toy premiums in Kids Packs beginning May 20 through July 7. The Justice League comic series-including Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern characters-have existed in varying forms since the 1940s. Today, the Justice League of America series is a best-selling title for DC Comics, and the Warner Bros. animation series is ranked among the top 10 performers on Cartoon Network.

This is the first time in more than 30 years that the Justice League characters will be featured together in a promotion. "Going forward, we plan to always position the Justice League characters as an ensemble in promotions and licensing efforts," says Joel Ehrlich, senior vice president, advertising and promotions, for Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Comics. Licensing plans include multiplayer concepts, high-tech products such as mobile and online games, and an apparel line for the teen market.
