Route One Apparel Announces Official Licensee Agreement with Morton Salt

Retailer unveils new designs featuring Morton’s Umbrella Girl.

Route One Apparel has announced it has reached an official licensee agreement with Morton Salt and revealed its first products featuring the Morton Umbrella Girl icon. With this agreement, Morton Salt joins Hershey, Old Bay, Domino Sugar and others in Route One Apparel’s family of national brands as the company continues to expand. 

“Throughout our history, Route One Apparel has been fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with iconic national brands and create new designs featuring some of the most recognizable and beloved logos and mascots,” says Ali von Paris, chief executive officer and founder, Route One Apparel. “We are thrilled to welcome Morton Salt to our licensee family and to become part of the Morton Umbrella Girl’s storied history.” 

Route One Apparel has released the first products from its new Morton Salt collection, including short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, hoodies and caps. All products are available to pre-order online. 

“Morton continues to reimagine our consumer products through standout fashion merchandise collaborations that capture the essence of our Morton brand and the iconic Morton Umbrella Girl,” says Kristin Edstrom, senior brand licensing manager, Morton Salt. “Route One Apparel’s Morton merchandise features both vintage and modern Morton designs that will appeal to new and existing Morton consumers alike.”
