Bored of Directors Signs Master Apparel Licensee Bioworld Merchandising

Bored Ape NFTs get the licensed merchandise treatment from Bioworld.

Bored of Directors, the premiere collective of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, has kicked off its U.S. Licensing program with apparel manufacturer, Bioworld Merchandising.  

In partnership with Bioworld, fans of Bored Ape Yacht Club will now officially be able to wear their favorite characters across a variety of apparel and accessory categories. Consumers will also be able to get a piece of the iconic NFT without having to purchase a token. 
“Bioworld was the perfect partner to bring the Bored of Directors collective of Apes to life at retail,” says Alex Locke, co-founder and managing member, Bored of Directors. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce this partnership and bring these Apes and our brand to its growing fanbase. 

“While many brands are trying to take traditional IP and bring it to the metaverse, particularly via NFTs, we are trying to do the opposite – bringing the metaverse down to Earth. At this moment, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs are the most sought-after blue chip NFTs and Bioworld’s incredible products and retailer footprint make this partnership so appealing.” 
Bored of Directors apparel will be available at retail and e-commerce soon. In addition to its master apparel partner, Brand Central will be announcing several other new licensees in the upcoming weeks and news on its robust global program.
