Leagues Cup Gets Capsule Collections for Inaugural Tournament
Guillermo Andrade has tapped Mexico's Liberal Youth Ministry to partake in the creation of select collections.
Guillermo Andrade, founder of the fashion brand 424 and creative advisor, Leagues Cup (a World Cup-style club tournament featuring all 47 clubs from LIGA MX and MLS), will debut his co-branded capsule collections.
Andrade has enlisted Mexican fashion house, Liberal Youth Ministry (YLM), founded by Antonio Zaragoza, as a guest designer for the LYM capsule collection. The collaboration culminates in limited-edition drops throughout the tournament, promising a fusion of style and sports.
The partnership between Andrade and Zaragoza heralds an opportunity to fuse the cultures of the U.S, Canada and Mexico through the captivating world of soccer on a global scale.
"It is a privilege and an honor to collaborate with Guillermo and the Leagues Cup," says Zaragoza. "We have an incredible opportunity to inspire the next generation through the sport of fútbol on a global stage."
In addition to his creative endeavors, Andrade will unveil an exclusive Leagues Cup x 424 capsule collection through recreated, repurposed and reimagined select adidas styles.
The limited edition capsules and fanwear collections will be released throughout the tournament.
