Hasbro, PDP Sign Gaming Accessories Deal

Performance Designed Products (PDP) has inked a multi-year agreement with Hasbro to create a line of video gaming accessories and products for a variety of consoles, iPods and cell phones.

This year, the two companies plan to roll out accessory lines for Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstations 2 and 3, as well as products for toy brands Nerf and Littlest Pet Shop brands, and upcoming movies Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra.

"Hasbro's goal as a brand-driven company is to selectively align ourselves with the best possible licensee partners," says Mark Blecher, senior vice president and general manager of digital media and gaming at Hasbro. "We have had a very successful relationship with PDP over the last three years and are looking to expand that success with this new deal."
