Universal Partnerships & Licensing teamed up with Old School Games and Atlus for the release of “R.I.P.D.: The Game” based on Universal Pictures' film R.I.P.D., in theaters today.
Players take up the holsters of two cops dispatched by the Rest In Peace Department to protect and serve the living from an increasingly destructive array of souls who refuse to move peacefully to the other side.
Through collaboration with Universal, Old School recreated the film’s environments for the game with true-to-the-movie enemies, weaponry and effects.
“R.I.P.D.: The Game” is available now as a downloadable title for PlayStationNetwork, Steam and the Xbox Live Arcade.
