Turner, IMG Plan ‘Tekken’ eSports Tournament
NORTH AMERICA–Eleague, an eSports organization established by Turner and IMG, has teamed up with Bandai Namco Entertainment America to develop a new eSports tournament called “Tekken” Team Takedown.

The upcoming video game competition will highlight Bandai Namco’s popular 3D fighting game “Tekken 7.”
NORTH AMERICA–Eleague, an eSports organization established by Turner and IMG, has teamed up with Bandai Namco Entertainment America to develop a new eSports tournament called “Tekken” Team Takedown.
The tournament, which will be based on the 3D fighting game “Tekken 7,” will feature 20 of game’s top American players. Each participant will compete on a four-person team in a single-elimination bracket, and each match will include a number of one-on-one games.
Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to watch the eSports tournament on Twitch or TBS, as well as be part of a live studio audience inside the Eleague Arena at Turner Studios in Atlanta.
“Tekken” Team Takedown is set to kick off on March 3 on Twitch, followed by a four-part feature series on TBS that will premiere on March 16.
